Juntos pela Praia: Real-Time Coastal Water Safety App

Juntos pela Praia (“Together for the Beach”) is a project that uses a network of solar-powered floats with sensors to measure and share Madeira’s coastal water quality in a real-time mobile app. The app allows users to check tides, waves, and report pollution. This solution improves public health, enhances safety, helps municipalities manage coastal areas, and supports Madeira tourism.
