This project is a Marine Waste Collection System designed to minimize ocean pollution and preserve biodiversity. The core of the system is a device, described as a kind of ‘lapa’ (limpet/barnacle), that uses advanced sensors to distinguish between different types of waste to ensure the protection of marine life during collection. The business targets shipbuilding and maritime-tourism companies seeking to enhance the sustainability of their services. The objective is to minimize environmental impact and capitalize on the growing consumer trend of valuing environmentally responsible businesses.
