ODEN: Autonomous Bio-Degradation of Oil Spills

ODEN is an autonomous, passive, and natural solution for managing hydrocarbon leaks from oil drilling, transfers, and port facilities. It uses the bacteria Alcanivorax Borkumensis, which metabolizes up to 95% of crude oil hydrocarbons into CO2, water, and energy in a process considered the most efficient biological oil degradation.
