This project combines sustainability and aesthetics by upcycling used wine bottles into elegant salt containers. Discarded bottles from bars and restaurants are cut to repurpose their base, while an innovative lid adds both functionality and style. More than just practical, these containers are designed as decorative objects. Each piece is distinct, bringing a touch of charm to any kitchen or table. The goal is to give these bottles a second life while promoting eco-conscious practices. Once the salt is consumed, the container can be reused in countless ways—storing spices, small items, or even as a glass or candle holder. This initiative proves that sustainability can be both functional and beautiful. For now, I have created prototypes using various existing container shapes and crafted custom wooden labels to enhance the natural and unique aesthetic.
