This project, presented by Hugo Rodríguez Iglesias, establishes a new, sustainable framework for coastal tourism, defined as “a way to keep coasts alive without killing the profit”. The central mission is to pivot away from traditional, resource-intensive travel towards an ecological and culturally responsible model that supports long-term regional health and economic viability. The initiative advocates for minimal environmental impact, integrating local communities, and actively promoting the health of marine and coastal ecosystems. It demonstrates that profitable tourism and effective conservation are compatible, ensuring sustainability through strategies like biodiversity protection and visitor education on local natural assets.
