Dissemination event

The ATLIC dissemination event is a space for reflection on a process that began a year ago and in which young people, experts and stakeholders interacted. It is a moment of interaction that concludes a cycle and highlights the results of the project.

EXHIBITION

Discover projects developed by young people from the ATLIC community:

SYNK – a festival exploring intersections between AI, creativity, and the Blue Economy.
Océan.4 – a series of projects imagining energy solutions at the heart of the future Blue Economy.
Rising Waters – an immersive exhibition envisioning life in 2050 in Vendée, exploring how societies can adapt to rising sea levels.
Algae project – Innovative concepts investigating the multiple uses of algae.

TRANSNATIONAL ROUND TABLE

The ATLIC Transnational Round Table brings together young entrepreneurs, experts, policymakers, and representatives of organizations from across the Atlantic area to discuss challenges of Blue Economy.

ATLIC DECLARATION WORKSHOP

Young people come together to write the ATLIC Declaration, shaping a collective vision and defining commitments for a more innovative, sustainable and inclusive Blue Economy.

 

PARTNERS MEETING

Parallel presentation by French partners for ATLIC partners and external experts not involved in the Declaration workshop.

ÎLE DE NANTES VISIT

A guided visit of the Île de Nantes, led by Samoa, exploring the site’s transformation and its strong historical and contemporary links to the Blue Economy.

DISCOVERY WORKSHOPS

Pascal Casari (Université de Nantes) will lead a workshop on plastic pollution and recycling. Using an injection molding machine, ATLIC merchandise will be produced.
Jade, Prune and Elliot from L’Ecole de design Nantes Atlantiques will introduce innovative ways to integrate algae into our daily consumption.

ATLIC DECLARATION PRESENTATION

The ATLIC Declaration, result of collective thinking from the ATLIC community will be presented and signed by a representant of each partner.

DAY 2

BOAT CRUISE

Participants will travel by boat from Nantes to Saint-Nazaire, with a guided tour exploring port activities, local history and heritage, and the link between both cities through the Blue Economy.
Antoine Adam (Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement) and Philippe Gonin (Pornic Agglo – Assoicated partner of ATLIC) will present blue econmy projects developped along the Loire River and its estuary.

THE BLUE WALK: FROM HERITAGE TO INNOVATION

A guided walk through Saint-Nazaire, starting at the Eco-Museum, where the city’s deep connection to the sea is brought to life. The route includes a stop at the Espadon submarine, a striking symbol of local naval history and technological expertise, followed by a pass by the School of Fine Arts, where creative practices offer a fresh perspective on maritime identity. The walk concludes at EPF, representing the future of technology and innovation.

OPENING OF THE ATLIC TALENT SHOW

Beatrice Priou and Marie Collet-Sassère (Saint-Nazaire Agglo) and delegates from Saint-Nazaire City will present projects on Blue Economy developped at the local scale.

ATLIC TALENT SHOW

Young people from the ATLIC community will present their innovative project, developed during the Innoblue Labs. Each
group will have five minutes to share their work with the audience.

ATLIC AWARDS CEREMONY

After deliberating, a jury composed of expert and partner will deliver the ATLIC Awards to young people, driving innovation in the Blue Economy across Atlantic communities.
