Luís Barrias Ferreira Alves is a 25-year-old Portuguese marine biologist based in Porto. He holds a Master’s degree in Applied Marine Biology and is part of the ATLIC Blue Leaders through INCUBO. His vision is deeply connected to the protection and sustainable use of the sea, which he sees as a key resource for the future of materials and food production.

Passionate about the marine environment, Luís is eager to expand his skills as a Blue Leader. His involvement in the Blue Leaders initiative reflects his commitment to sustainability and nature-based solutions. Fluent in Portuguese and English, he actively contributes to projects that promote the blue economy and marine conservation through applied approaches.
